Description

A familiar favorite, now available on the App Store!

iTripleTriad is a combination of tic-tac-toe and War, where you attempt to use your cards to outwit and outplay your opposition in order to have more cards of your own color on the board after 9 turns.

This game is inspired by the addictive minigame made popular in Final Fantasy 8, and now you can play it anytime you want!

This version includes local back-and-forth multiplayer with balanced decks generated at random for each player as well as a tutorial showing you how to play.

Future releases will include wireless multiplayer, deck presets, and playing for keeps!

Needs a 1-player option

:
I loved this game in FF8, but this is a pale shadow. It needs a 1-player option, and not to be able to see the other person's hand.

2 stars for effort, plus one for the awesome game it's based on.

Wow...

How is this app not top 10 yet? Amazing game involves a lot of wits. I can't wait for this phone to go mainstream so there are more opponents!

A good start but needs work

:
I think with some work this could be a really fun game app, but for now it's a little lacking in gameplay. Probably the oddest thing is being able to see your opponent's cards when playing head to head. Isn't part of the challenge anticipating what they have? Also why can't you play against the CPU?

I think this is a good start but it seems like they could have put more work into it before releasing. Hopefully down the line well see more features in addition to multiplayer like the various rules to add to a game and a better PvP system.

But for now, save your buck till they work things out.
